2

The 2016 presidential race will be here before we know it, so it is certainly time to look towards the future to begin considering who will be the most viable presidential candidates. The GOP will have no shortage of interesting, capable, and electable candidates to choose from in 2016, so the impending Republican primaries are sure to be contentious. But there is one GOP candidate who could emerge as an instant front runner for the 2016 Republican nomination if they chose to make a run, and it’s none other than Mitt Romney.

Why Jeb Bush Has the Potential to Win the 2016 GOP Nomination

With the 2016 Republican National Convention approaching faster than ever, the field of potential GOP presidential candidates is still fairly splintered. There are many viable Republican candidates who might make a run for the White House, but no big-name GOPers have officially announced their intention to run for the presidency yet. So looking towards the future, who potentially has a strong chance of winning the 2016 GOP nomination? It’s a bird … it’s a plane … no, it’s Jeb Bush!

Is Hillary Clinton the Biggest Obstacle to a GOP White House in 2016?

With the 2016 general election now just two years away, the political machines of both the Democratic and Republican parties are at the precipice of entering their respective primary seasons. And while the Republican party has many viable candidates it can turn to in 2016, there is currently no clear Republican front runner to win the 2016 GOP presidential nomination. But with the Democratic party, the situation is much different. There is a person who could instantly clear the Democratic playing field if they announced their intention to run in 2016, and that person is none other than Hillary Clinton.

Is There Such A Thing As An Unbiased Media?

http://doublegsports.com

Not so long ago there was a nightly routine that went on in most American households. After returning from work, and just before dinner, the news would come on all the major television stations. Only having a few short channels to choose from, you either got the news from ABC, NBC or CBS. The major news outlets all had the same major story-lineups, with a slight variation in the feature stories, depending on the locale. Nowadays, almost everyone has cable or satellite television and receives numerous choices of where to get their news.

No matter which side of the political spectrum you fall, many Americans are growing distrustful of the media as a whole. If you are a conservative, you believe that a liberal ideology drives the mainstream media. If you are a liberal, you believe that news outlets such as Fox sensationalize the news to slant right. That leaves everyone wondering if there such a thing as an unbiased media anymore? What happened to the days when both sides were equally reported, there was no bias, and everyone got the same recount of events?

The Race For Control Of The Senate…Who Will Win Come Election Day?

0
http://www.westernjournalism.com

With election day just being less than a week away, political adds are dominating the internet and cable television. In North Carolina alone, more money is being hurled at the feud between Democrat Kay Hagan and Republican Thom Tillis than any time in history for a Senate race. Why such a frenzy to win coveted Senate seats? If the election results are in favor of the Republicans, they will have enough sitting senators on their side to send Harry Reid packing. Those who support the Republican party, and are craving change, are finally starting to see a tunnel at the end of the Democrat-ruled tunnel. Will they be able to oust the Democrat party and win a majority?

www.doublegsports.com

What is renewing hope that the Republicans can finally take their seat at the head of the Senate? The attempt of many Democratic candidates to run from the reputation and alliance with the President’s decisions and policies. Democrats such as Alison Grimes refuse to admit even whether she voted for Obama or not. In a debate that looked more like a grand jury trial, she refused to answer the simplest question of whether she voted for our fearless leader in 2012. Insisting that Obama has nothing to do with the race for Senate, she struggled to put distance between her and the sitting president.

No worries, the Democrats need not fear knowing whether the public understands where their allegiance falls. Obama cleared that up the other day in a press conference by stating that all the candidates were voting with him. He insisted that they were all on his side and will continue to do his bidding if re-elected. Obviously he didn’t get the memo that says, “Quiet…you aren’t helping”. Exposing the truth that a Democrat is still a Democrat no matter how they chose to market themselves, the Republicans thank Obama for his obvious arrogance.

Many who never give midterm elections a thought are considering putting their ballot in this time around. The potential to gain control of the Senate is huge for those of us who want some control over the sitting President. We have given full control over to not only him, but the likes of Harry Reid, to steer this country into disaster. Will winning the Senate have that much manipulation on what happens going forward? Perhaps not, but it is finally a win for our team.
There are problems with winning the Senate over for the Republican side, however. If the Republicans fail to make a difference, or curb Obama’s insistence on leading this country down the wrong path in the next few years, it could have potentially disastrous consequences on the next race for president in 2016. If we are ineffectual, we could risk handing over the presidency to the likes of Hillary Clinton. In a game of chess, it is difficult to know what play to put in motion. Sometimes when you get what you want, it isn’t really what you want at all.

Rogue Homegrown Solo Terrorism…Is It The Wave Of The Future?

911 was a morning that we all woke up to a new America. Before that day, we had all known that terrorism existed, but it was something that happened on foreign soil. It was something that effected us, but we never thought that it could personally touch us, or the people that we love. Terrorism is quite arguably the most effective means of control that an enemy has over a mass of people that they seek to conquer. It instills fear in the hearts of the enemy, thereby making it much easier to conquer them. Terrorism gets into the heads and hearts of people in a way that normal warfare, or combat never could.

Obama May Be Slick, But How Many Scandals Will Slide Before One Sticks?

0
http://www.libertynews.com

Never before in history has their been so many controversies surrounding a sitting president, his administration, and his direct appointees. From the debacle in Benghazi to the “fast and furious” scandal, the list continues to grow. What is Obama’s stance on all the inconsistencies in his administration? Either he claims to have no knowledge or insists that there is absolutely, “not even a smudge of corruption”. He may be a good orator, and have a mainstream media who is unwilling to dig deeper, but there has to come a time when the chickens come home to roost, no? The truth is that either he is completely out to lunch, and no one is steering the ship, or he is the one steering us into an iceberg.

Obama’s slick overtures and failure to answer mounting inquiries into what he knew, when he knew it, and how much control he had over arising situations, have the American people frustrated at best. The mistake that he is making, which will soon lead to his downfall, is that the American people hired him, and he works for us. The continual negation that he either has no involvement in the affairs of the country or that he is not guilty of wrong-doing, isn’t going to hold much water when the chips begin to fall. A wary public is growing tired of watching our elitist President perusing the golf course while ISIS is growing to the count of millions and our citizens are succumbing to terrorist acts on foreign soil. It is leaving us all to question, if he doesn’t have a hand in what is going on, what is he doing?

The biggest problem to holding Obama accountable is the negligence of the mainstream media. Being a media “darling”, there is no one who is willing to stand up and hold his hand to the fire. When flippant answers are given, or hyperbole is used to disguise the facts, the media shakes their head in acquiescence and does nothing to verify his statements, or to have him elaborate. How many so-called “fabricated scandals” will come and go before someone stands up and demands the truth of our fearless leader?

Perhaps the media is fearful for their own future. In the wake of Obama’s rise to fame are broken careers and allegations launched at those who have opposed his policies or credibility. Those who speak out against anything that Obama stands for, or is responsible for, are quickly labeled “racist”. In an attempt to squash any adversary to his administration before it gains steam, personal attacks are hurled about the whistle-blowers long before they can get their stories heard. What journalist wants to risk their potential future by exposing Obama? History has shown that he is untouchable, so why would anyone risk their livelihood for the truth?

What Is The Real “War On Women” And Who Is Waging It?

4
http://www.libertynews.com

There are not many, even in liberal circles, which can negate that the reason the republicans failed in the last election was due to a campaign waged labeled “the war on women”. The Democratic party played heavily on the notion that Republicans were chipping away at freedoms and causes that are crucial to women. Alarmists talked about the day when abortion was illegal, and birth control was no longer available. The Democrats painted a picture of the Republican Party consisting of men who wanted to push women back to the time before Susan B Anthony secured our rights to vote. They launched a campaign that would have us believe that being barefoot and pregnant was our future and that the Republican Party aimed to abolish our human rights.

Paul Ryan

After being Mitt Romney’s pick for Vice President in the 2012 presidential campaign, Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan is an extremely visible and popular leader within the GOP, and his fiscal ideas are proving to be increasingly influential. Ryan reached across the aisle to help negotiate and pass the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2013, which is set to reduce the federal deficit and fund the government through the end of 2014. Big ideas and a willingness to negotiate have positioned Ryan as one of the most prominent Republican leaders going forward.
